Famous People From San Antonio

Before you visit, you may be interested in finding out about some of the famous people from San Antonio, Texas. My list includes those who were born here as well as those who currently make San Antonio their home. It also includes those who are from the surrounding area.

There are actors, politicians, singers, religious leaders, sports players, heroes, and many others. I will continue to do some research so I can find as many as possible. San Antonio is a great city and it has produced some great leaders.

The first person who comes to my mind is one of my favorite actresses, Carol Burnett. I just finished reading her latest book, This Time Together and it was just like I was sitting down and chatting with her. I loved it!

No doubt you have seen many of the people on TV or listened to their songs on the radio. Perhaps you have read books they have written or read their columns in a newspaper (Heloise). I watch some of them on TV each week, others in movies. I saw one in concert at the rodeo in El Paso, Texas (Moe Bandy). I worked with the sister of a football star (Priest Holmes). Some have served their city, state, and country proudly.
